เมื่อวันที่ 27 สิงหาคม 2568 นางสาวรุจิกร แสงจันทร์ อธิบดีกรมเศรษฐกิจระหว่างประเทศเป็นประธานการหารือกับเพื่อเสริมสร้างเครือข่ายในการขับเคลื่อนกระบวนการการเข้าเป็นสมาชิก OECD ของไทย ร่วมกับผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานไทยรวม 30 คน ซึ่งได้เข้าร่วมโครงการ ‘Masterclass on Thailand's OECD Accession’ ซึ่งออสเตรเลียจัดขึ้นเมื่อเดือนมิถุนายน 2568 และหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนที่มีส่วนร่วมดำเนินการเพื่อเข้าเป็นสมาชิก OECD รวมทั้งผู้แทนจากสำนักงานสภาพัฒนาการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติ (สศช.) และสำนักงานคณะกรรมการกฤษฎีกา (สคก.) ซึ่งเป็นหน่วยงานหลักในการขับเคลื่อนการเข้าเป็นสมาชิกร่วมกับกระทรวงการต่างประเทศฯในการนี้ อธิบดีกรมเศรษฐกิจระหว่างประเทศได้ย้ำบทบาทของกระทรวงการต่างประเทศในการสนับสนุนการดำเนินการของหน่วยงานไทย โดยเฉพาะในกระบวนการจัดทำเอกสารประเมินตนเอง (Initial Memorandum) และการประเมินทางเทคนิค (Technical Review) เพื่อเข้าเป็นสมาชิก OECD โดยผู้แทนหน่วยงานต่าง ๆ ได้แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ของหน่วยงานตนเองและให้ข้อเสนอแนะสำหรับการขับเคลื่อน การเข้าเป็นสมาชิก OECD ของไทย นอกจากนี้ อธิบดีกรมเศรษฐกิจระหว่างประเทศได้เป็นเจ้าภาพในกิจกรรม “OECD Network: Meet the Focal Points” เพื่อเสริมสร้างเครือข่ายหน่วยงานไทยกับผู้แทนจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูตของประเทศสมาชิก OECD ในไทยด้วย

Director-General of the Department of International Economic Affairs chaired a discussion with relevant Thai agencies to advance Thailand’s OECD accession process

          On August 27, 2025, Ms. Rujikorn Saengchantr, Director-General of the Department of International Economic Affairs, chaired a discussion with 30 representatives of Thai public and private agencies involved in Thailand’s OECD accession process, who took part in the ‘Masterclass on Thailand’s OECD accession’ course organized by Australia in June 2025. Participants also included representatives from the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) and the Office of the Council of State, which are among key agencies responsible for Thailand’s OECD accession process.
The Director-General emphasized the role of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in supporting relevant Thai agencies, particularly with regards to the Initial Memorandum and the Technical Review that are the necessary steps in Thailand’s OECD accession process. Additionally, the Director-General hosted
a reception titled “OECD Network: Meet the Focal Points” where representatives from embassies of 27 OECD member countries in Bangkok were invited to attend and to meet Thailand’s OECD focal points from relevant agencies.
