ในฐานะเจ้าหน้าที่อาวุโสเอเปคไทย เข้าร่วมการประชุมเจ้าหน้าที่อาวุโสเอเปค ครั้งที่ 3 และการประชุมอื่น ๆ
ที่เกี่ยวข้อง (APEC SOM3/2026) ณ เมืองต้าเหลียน สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน เพื่อหารือความคืบหน้า
การดำเนินงานของเอเปคภายใต้หัวข้อ “Openness. Innovation. Cooperation.” และเตรียมการสู่สัปดาห์การประชุมผู้นำเขตเศรษฐกิจเอเปค ณ เมืองเซินเจิ้น ในเดือนพฤศจิกายน 2569

ไทยได้ร่วมสนับสนุนการขับเคลื่อนวาระสำคัญของเอเปค อาทิ FTAAP การค้าดิจิทัลและ AI ความเข้มแข็งของห่วงโซ่อุปทาน และความเชื่อมโยงในภูมิภาค พร้อมรายงานความคืบหน้าโครงการที่ไทยมีบทบาทนำ ได้แก่ APEC BCG Award 2026 และ Guidance on Anti-Online Scams for APEC รวมทั้งผลการเป็นเจ้าภาพการประชุมเจ้าหน้าที่อาวุโสเอเปค ครั้งที่ 3 (ABAC3/2026) ณ กรุงเทพฯ

นอกจากนี้ อธิบดีกรมเศรษฐกิจระหว่างประเทศได้เข้าร่วมการหารือเชิงนโยบายด้านความเชื่อมโยง เศรษฐกิจดิจิทัลและ AI ตลอดจนหารือทวิภาคีกับเจ้าหน้าที่อาวุโสเอเปคจากอินโดนีเซีย แคนาดา เวียดนาม เปรู และจีนฮ่องกง เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับประเด็นสำคัญของเอเปคและส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในประเด็นที่มีผลประโยชน์ร่วมกัน

On August 24–28, 2026, Ms. Rujikorn Saengchantr, Director-General of the Department of International Economic Affairs  and Thailand’s APEC Senior Official, attended the 3^rd APEC Senior Officials' Meeting and Related Meetings (APEC SOM3/2026) in Dalian, People's Republic of China. The objectives of the meetings were to review progress under APEC 2026’s theme "Openness. Innovation. Cooperation." and to advance preparations for  the APEC Economic Leaders' Week in Shenzhen this upcoming November.

Thailand reaffirmed its strong support for APEC 2026 priorities, including the Free Trade Area of the Asia-Pacific (FTAAP), digital trade and AI, supply chain resilience, and regional connectivity. Thailand also provided updates on key initiatives including the 2026 APEC BCG Award  and the development of the  Guidance on Anti-Online Scams for APEC, as well as the outcomes of
the 3^rd  APEC Business Advisory Council Meeting (ABAC3/2026) held in Bangkok.

In addition, the Director-General participated in policy dialogues on connectivity, the digital economy and AI, while also holding bilateral discussions with APEC Senior Officials from Indonesia, Canada, Viet Nam, Peru, and Hong Kong, China, to exchange views on APEC priorities and strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
